It has a torque of @4.8/6.0V oz-in and a speed limit up to (@4.8/6.0V sec/60): .18/.15. Also, it has a 25 tooth spline.  

The gear is made from a composite of Titanium and Aluminum making it stronger than the other servos. However, the case is made of Aluminum.

This servo will fit your ⅛ buggy so perfectly. You’ll notice the tires getting locked on lock. The best part is the servo allows a very good centering. So, you have full control of your buggy in intense races. 

Run it for 8 months and you’ll see how efficient it is! It’ll make your buggy more responsive and speedy. Compare it with your other servos and you’ll notice the difference!

First of all, this servo is heavier than any other servos on the list. This means it will help your buggy to stay still in hardcore races.

Now, just like the previous servo, this servo also has a 25-tooth spline. It also contains a dual ball bearing.   

It has a very good speed. It can speed up to 0.20 going @4.8V sec/60. For this, the highest torque is 416.6 oz-in. 

Note that this servo has a gear made of a unique steel. The build quality is different from the Aluminum gear we’ve seen in the previous Savox servo. However, the case comes in Aluminum which is quite sturdy for heavy operations.

It not only works great in ⅛ buggy but also fits perfectly in 1/10 cat scout gen 8. But it’s less strong for the SCX10 platform consisting of 2.2-inch tires.

One sad thing about the Savox SA1230SG Steel Gear Digital Servo is that it isn’t waterproof. This means you have to stay careful so that water doesn’t hit the servo. It’s also a bit loud which I don’t like personally. 

Overall, keeping aside the downsides, the servo is excellent. You’ll get maximum efficiency and speed from it. No wonder why they charge so much! But yes, if you’re short in budget, just scroll up and choose one that matches your requirements.
